DOVGA (Azerbaijan?s Yoghurt Soup)


1 egg - 1,5 spoons wheat flour -2 spoons rice -3 glasses yoghurt - 6 glasses water - 1 glass boiled chickpeas - bundle of spinach - bundle of mint - bundle of dill -Salt


Blend the egg, flour, rice and yoghurt thoroughly in a pot and add water little by little. (Yoghurt should have a consistency of thick ayran). Then stir the mixture with a wooden spoon until it boils with normal heat. After it starts boiling, reduce the heat, add pre-boiled chickpeas and salt. After rice become soft enough for eating, add minced greenery and let it be boiled up once.
