"Turkish Film Days from Iranian Cinema" Held in Istanbul

As part of the "Turkish Film Days from Iranian Cinema" program, which will be held in Istanbul from December 7th to 11th, 21 films made in Turkish in Iranian Azerbaijan will be screened.

The 5-day event, organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, will feature the screening of 13 short films, 4 feature films, and 4 documentaries, along with a photo exhibition and a seminar on Turkish-language films in Iranian cinema.

In addition to films mostly made in recent years in Tabriz, Urmia, and Ardabil, the event will also showcase the film Saray (Palace), directed by the late filmmaker Yadulla Samadi, who passed away in December, and which was made in 1997.

The event will take place at the Yeşilçam Cinema in the Beyoğlu district.
