The short film Qara Yol (Black Road) won second place at the Bursa Film Festival in Turkey.
A ceremony was held as part of the "International Yed-i Velayet 7 Vilayet Short Film Festival," organized by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism's Cinema Directorate and the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with "Ehli Sanat Senima" and the Cultural Association.
In the short films category, directors Ozan Sihay and Tufan Şimşekcan took first place, Iranian Azerbaijani director Leila Norouzi earned second place with Qara Yol, and Tolga Okur placed third with Arise.
The short film Qara Yol won second place at the Bursa International Film Festival in Turkey, receiving a second trophy and a cash prize.

Leila Norouzi was born in the city of Ardabil, Iranian Azerbaijan, and is currently studying architecture in Istanbul, Turkey. Previously, Norouzi was a member of the jury at the 1st Baku International Animation Festival.
The director from Ardabil is the author of two poetry books and one short story collection. She is a prize winner at festivals such as the Istanbul Silk Road Film Festival (2016), Tabriz Film Festival (2017), and Isfahan Story Festival (2015). She also participated as a jury member in the "Snow" festival held in Ardabil in 2015-2016. In 2018, she co-authored the book Azerbaijani Animation.The southern [Azerbaijani] director had previously stated that she wanted to make a film about the fans of the 'Traktor' football team, but had not yet received a response from the football club.
