During the Constitutional Revolution in Iran, in Tabriz, Azerbaijan magazine emerged as a significant platform for expressing political, social, and cultural sentiments within the Azerbaijani Turk community. This magazine played a pivotal role in shaping the discourse surrounding constitutionalism and national identity during this tumultuous period.





Azerbaijan was a four-page bilingual Turkish-Persian satirical magazine published in Tabriz. It emulated the satirical journal, Molla Nasreddin. Covers are from 1906 and 1907 issues.
